There’s no better way to trade “holiday hustle” for “merry and bright” than settling in with a cocktail worth savoring. This season, we’re bringing a touch of Paris straight to you—in the form of a perfectly prepped Ritz Sidecar, inspired by the legendary Bar Hemingway at the Ritz Paris.

Crafted by renowned barman Colin Peter Field, this world-celebrated classic blends rare pre-phylloxera Ritz Fine Champagne 1865 Cognac with Cointreau and fresh lemon juice.

And the best part? You can enjoy it right at home. Cheers to you-and to creating your own parfait Parisian moment this holiday season. À votre santé!

  • Bar Hemingway’s Sidecar by Ritz Paris
    • 1 oz Cognac
    • 1 oz Cointreau
    • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
    • Sugar, for rimming
    • Lemon or Orange Twist

Recipe:
1. Rim a chilled coupe with sugar, then shake equal parts Cognac, Cointreau, and fresh lemon juice hard over ice until brisk and bracing.
2. Strain into the prepared glass for a perfectly diluted, full-coupe pour that skips the syrup for a crisp, citrus-led finish.
3. Top with a twist for a little taste of Parisian joie de vivre.
