Opening for reservations late 2016, The Silo, the latest addition to The Royal Portfolio, is situated above the V&A Waterfront and surrounded by the natural wonder of the Mother City that is Cape Town, South Africa.
The Silo is being built in the grain elevator portion of the historic grain silo complex occupying 6 floors above what will become the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. Zietiz will be a modern art gallery to rival the likes of the Tate Modern in London, MoMA in New York and Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid.
The 28-room hotel including a spectacular penthouse will be a beacon in the harbor of Cape Town; a place where dramatic mountains, sandy beaches, diverse cultures, art, design and a thriving food and wine scene collide.
